Evaluation Services
(Special Education, Section 504 Evaluations, Independent Educational Evaluations)
PEEC Support Services provides timely, thorough psychoeducational evaluations, including initial evaluations, re-evaluations, and Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs). Our assessments address cognitive abilities, academic achievement, social-emotional functioning, adaptive behavior, and executive functioning—tailored to each student’s needs and referral questions.
We partner closely with districts and school teams to help meet timelines, reduce backlogs, and ensure that every evaluation reflects best practices in assessment, equity, and student-centered support. Our services are designed to integrate seamlessly with existing district resources or function independently as a comprehensive, stand-alone solution—based on each school’s needs.
Evaluations are conducted in alignment with IDEA, Section 504, and state education codes, helping schools remain compliant while supporting informed IEP or 504 Plan development. We deliver clear, legally defensible reports with data-driven recommendations that guide eligibility decisions and promote meaningful educational outcomes.
Private evaluations are available for families seeking independent insight into their child’s learning and development.
Counseling & Intervention Services
PEEC Support Services provides direct counseling and intervention services to support students' emotional well-being, behavioral development, and overall functioning in the school environment. Our culturally responsive counseling and intervention services are tailored to the unique developmental and individual needs of each student. Services may include individual or group counseling, intervention planning and development and skill-building sessions.
We collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure that interventions are aligned with student goals and integrated into their educational plans. Counseling services can also support the implementation of IEPs and 504 Plans by addressing social-emotional or behavioral goals and helping students access their education more effectively. Our approach centers on empowerment, resilience, and helping students develop the tools they need to thrive both in and outside of the classroom. Our strategies are designed to be teacher- and parent-friendly, making them practical to implement across home and school settings.
Professional Development & Consultation for Educators
PEEC Support Services provides tailored professional development and consultation designed to empower educators and school teams with practical, research-based strategies to support diverse student needs. We work directly with educators—including those seeking skill development or targeted support—to strengthen their practice and confidence in the classroom.
Our professional development and consultations build capacity in key areas, including:
Understanding psychoeducational evaluation results
Collaborating effectively with families
Promoting equity and culturally responsive practices
Managing behavior and supporting emotional regulation
Trauma-informed care and mental health awareness
Whether addressing school-wide initiatives or individual student concerns, we help build sustainable systems that promote student growth and educator success.
Family Engagement & Support
We are committed to empowering families as active partners in their child’s education. Our Family Engagement and Support Services are designed to build strong, collaborative relationships between families and schools, while equipping parents and caregivers with the knowledge and tools needed to support their child’s learning and development. Our goal is to foster trust, communication, and shared understanding so that parents, guardians and families feel confident, heard, and equipped to advocate for their children. Our services include:
Culturally Responsive Support: We honor each family’s background and values, ensuring that services are inclusive, respectful, and tailored to individual needs.
Advocacy and Guidance: We help parents and guardians become confident, informed advocates by guiding them through general and special education processes—such as evaluations, IEP/504 meetings, service planning, and progress monitoring. Our goal is to ensure families understand their rights, feel empowered to engage with school teams, and are equipped to support their child’s academic, social, and emotional growth at home and in school.
School-Family Liaison Support: Acting as a bridge between home and school, we facilitate communication and problem-solving to ensure student needs are clearly understood and effectively addressed.
Home Support Planning: We work with families to create strategies that support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth at home—while also building skills that are transferable to school and other settings, promoting consistency and success across environments.
